The Ornithology Department welcomes accurate dated records of birds from anywhere in Kenya for its 'National Birdmap' project. Ideally this would be a list from a particular location on a particular day - it doesn't have to include any unusual birds. Special checklists for sending in records are available from the Department, free of charge. Observers are also encouraged to fill nest record cards for any breeding records. NRCs are also available from the Ornithology department, free of charge. Forms and cards can be posted to local addresses, or they can be collected from the Museum. The Department can be emailed at kbirds@africaonline.co.ke
